Helen Dunford, Programme Director

Helen is our Director of Programmes for the GP Federation. She has a long standing experience of working within the NHS both in a clinical and non-clinical capacity within primary care and community services. She knows Camden well in the work she did in setting up the Frail and Elderly and LTC programmes. Most recently she has worked in Switzerland in end of life care, and NWL leading on key projects to take forward integrated care and primary care at scale.

Helen leads on delivering the Federation priorities of supporting GP primary care networks and work collaboratively with local communities and partners to establish ‘place based’ plans improving the health and care of neighbourhood populations.

Lucie Thorn, Programme Development Manager

Lucie is our Programme Development Manager for the GP Federation. She has worked in NHS Primary Care for 15 years, most of this being within the Hurley Group in both clinical and non-clinical roles, then as Manager of the NHS Practitioner Health Programme and NHS GP Health Service. Most recently she was the Operations Manager of eConsult an online consultation service, supporting Primary Care services.

Lucie aims to work with the practices and local services using their knowledge and skills as well her own experience to support Camden practices, develop services, improve patient pathways and outcomes by planning and supporting change.
